1. Nature of the Product
The EU AI Act Compliance Starter Kit is supplied as downloadable digital content (HTML and PDF reference documents, with editable templates in .docx and .xlsx). There is no physical medium. The product is made available for download through Gumroad upon payment confirmation.
2. Statutory Right of Withdrawal
Consumers (natural persons acting outside their trade or business) have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts under Directive 2011/83/EU and TRLGDCU (Real Decreto Legislativo 1/2007), Article 102. The period runs from the day of contract conclusion.
Within the 14-day period, a Consumer may withdraw without giving reasons by sending a clear statement to hello@trevam.com. The refund is processed by Gumroad as merchant of record.
3. Digital Content Exception — Not Currently Applied
TRLGDCU Article 103(m) and Directive 2011/83/EU Article 16(m) allow the withdrawal right to be excluded for digital content supplied immediately, where the Consumer expressly consents and acknowledges the loss of the right before supply, and where the Seller confirms this on a durable medium.
The Gumroad checkout used by this site does not currently present a separate, unticked-by-default waiver checkbox. The conditions of Article 103(m) are therefore not met. The statutory 14-day withdrawal right is preserved.

4. Discretionary Refunds Outside the Withdrawal Period
After the 14-day withdrawal period, refunds are available at the Seller's discretion in the following cases:
- Download failure: the Buyer cannot access the download link or the file is corrupted, and access cannot be restored within a reasonable time.
- Duplicate purchase: the same Buyer purchases the same product more than once within a short period.
- Material defect: the file is defective in a way that prevents intended use and cannot be corrected by re-delivery.
Refund requests should be sent to hello@trevam.com with the order ID. Gumroad handles refund processing.
5. Confirmation Email
After purchase, the Buyer receives an automated confirmation email from Gumroad. This email serves as durable-medium confirmation of the contract, the product delivered, and the applicable terms. The Seller recommends retaining it.
6. Consumer Conformity Rights — Not Affected
Nothing in this policy limits any statutory Consumer right regarding lack of conformity of digital content, as provided under Directive (EU) 2019/770 and TRLGDCU as amended by Real Decreto-ley 7/2021. For one-time digital content supply, the Seller is responsible for lack of conformity that becomes apparent within two years of delivery. Applicable Consumer remedies include bringing the content into conformity, price reduction, or contract termination. See Terms & Conditions, clause 10, for full details.
7. Business Customers
Business Customers (Buyers acting within their trade or business) do not have a statutory right of withdrawal. Refunds for Business Customers are at the Seller's sole discretion, subject to applicable law.
